Parish Council Meeting - 17 June 2010 A mixture of hanging baskets, planters and smaller floral displays had now been installed at various locations throughout the Parish and these had been well received by local residents. It was disappointing however that one planter had been vandalised within a matter of days of it being installed and residents were asked to be extra vigilant and report any incidents of vandalism to the police. The Council was pursuing dog control orders for the Parish with the District Council and would be looking to introduce restrictions later in the year. The Council accepts that the majority of dog owners are responsible and the dog control order would have little impact on these people. Residents were again reminded that if they witnessed individuals allowing their dogs to foul recreational areas in the Parish they should report this to the dog wardens at the District Council on Chesterfield 231111 The next meeting of the Parish Council would be held on Thursday 15th July 2010 starting at 7pm in the Village Hall. |
